Who is the Digital Doctor?
10 questions 10 answers
What was the turning point that led you to create Nexperio?
My training in transformational leadership, especially the module on emotional intelligence, was the trigger. I realized it was time to start my own company and work directly with clients, who are at the center of everything I do
Which professional experiences shaped your vision of digital the most?
With 30 years of experience and only 4 companies, each one gave me an essential dimension: the first taught me to keep a centralized view of the customer, the second introduced me to digital marketing, the third taught me online sales in all its dimensions, and the fourth was a synthesis in which I acted as entrepreneur and managing director, responsible for the business's profitability
Which training programs had the greatest impact on your professional approach?
My training in interior architecture and stage design made me realize how central people are within their environment. More recently, certifications in negotiation, transformational leadership, financial management and generative artificial intelligence have considerably enriched my professional practice
What are the three fundamental values that guide your approach?
Honesty/integrity, generosity/kindness, and cheerfulness/humor/good spirits
What is your professional « signature »?
I start by challenging the status quo, seeking to understand the original strategy and whether it still holds. Then I check whether current actions align with that strategy. I bring professionalism and curiosity to properly define objectives and avoid missteps in execution. Everything I do is tailor-made
How would you describe your working methodology?
My methodology unfolds in three stages: first, in-depth questioning to understand the client's request, then a reformulation with proposed lines of work, and finally a co-built roadmap (processes, tools, training) that we implement together
How do you balance technology and human needs in your projects?
People are a company's most essential resource. Technology should support human work, freeing up time for high-value tasks like coaching, guidance and personal development
How do you approach situations where a client is resistant to change?
Rather than force it, I prefer to ask questions that draw out the frustrations, let things « simmer », and ask what's preventing solutions from being put in place. I use the 5 whys method to identify the real reason behind the resistance and let the client put it into words themselves
How would you describe your leadership style?
Caring and encouraging. I set the frame and the objective, then I let people work. I stay available if needed, but I'd rather offer a line of thinking than hand over my own solution
What's your advice for someone starting out in digital transformation?
Stay curious. Read a lot, draw inspiration from what works and also from what doesn't. Think about how all of this can enrich you professionally and improve your interactions with clients
